Currituck Beach Lighthouse Wedding in Corolla, NC

Planning an outdoor wedding can be stressful. Planning one during hurricane season in the Outer Banks can just take it to another level.

But not for Heidi and Trever.

Even though the day started with a light drizzle, they remained unfazed. They were truly just excited that the day when they got to say "I do" had finally arrived!

It was evident throughout the whole day that the most important detail was that they were getting to marry each other.

After getting ready at their beach house in Corolla, Heidi had a special first look with her dad and mom. Then she was able to spend a few moments with her bridesmaids while Trever was with his groomsmen.

When the time came to say their vows, they did so under a clear sky in front of the historic Currituck Beach Lighthouse with their closest friends and family looking on.

The only sign of a hurricane came in the form of their footwear. #CarolinaHurricanes
